Dr. Abby Hussamy
Dr. Abby has proudly called Humble home with her family since 2007. Known for her gentle approach and dedication to patient care, she is passionate about helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles—especially through cosmetic dentistry, one of her favorite areas of practice.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Dr. Abby earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida in 1996. She then continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, where she earned both her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in 2003. Following dental school, she further refined her clinical skills through a dental residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Abby is committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry through continuing education and professional collaboration. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. She also participates in the Seattle Study Club and the Spears Study Club, where she collaborates with fellow dental professionals to continually advance her knowledge and deliver the highest quality care to her patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Abby enjoys spending time with her two children and being part of the Humble community. She also loves exploring great food and staying active by playing pickleball.
Dr. Jose Teppa
Dr. Jose Teppa was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. He earned his dental degree from Santa Maria University in 2008, before moving to the United States to continue advancing his education and clinical training.
Dr. Teppa completed an Oral an Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Where he participated in clinical research and assisted in both outpatient procedures as well as OR Hospital cases. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in 2014. A program known for its strong clinical training and patient focused care.
In 2016, Dr. Teppa decided to make Houston home where he has been practicing dentistry and serving the community. He joined our team at Sky Dental, where he practices comprehensive general dentistry with a special focus on root canal therapy, and oral surgery (including dental implants). Dr. Teppa is passionate about providing personalized, care and helping patient achieve long term oral health.
His professional affiliations and memberships include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Outside of the office, Dr. Teppa enjoys exploring Houston's vibrant food scene and spending time with his four ledged son Trapper.
